The ET-MD77DV replaces the ET-MD75DV and as well as combining DVI and network connectivity on one input board, it allows connection to the next generation of DVD and Set Top Boxes via HDMI1. For copy protected signals HDCP2 is fully implemented on standard and high definition formats at both 50Hz and 60Hz. Computer signals are no longer restricted to a maximum of SXGA and resolutions from VGA to UXGA may now be displayed. The ET-MD77SD1 enables the serial digital component interface used by the broadcasting industry to be used. SDI allows component signals (conforming to SMPTE 259M standards) to be transmitted via a single co-axial cable thus simplifying installation. The ET-MD77SD1 supports 576i and 480p standards and also adds LAN/WAN network connectivity. The ET-MD77SD3 has all the SDI and Networking functions of the ET-MD77SD1 and in addition has full support for the SMPTE 292M HD-SDI (High Definition Serial Digital Interface). Supported formats include all commonly used standards for high definition TV and digital movie production. The ET-MD77NT adds remote monitoring and control via a LAN/WAN network. Additionally, still images can now be sent from a remote PC connected to the network.
