The Octopus Multi-Room Entertainment system is a ‘whole house entertainment system’ which features similar functionality to its sister product the Opus 500 Series Multi-Room Entertainment System and provides an entry-level or budget alternative.

In every room where the system in installed, simple keypads provide access to your audio and video entertainment equipment and simple remote controls deliver control of this equipment.

Octopus Multi-Room is also designed to be integrate seamlessly with Octopus Home Cabling.

  • Extremely simple installation, with just a single run of Cat5e cable per zone.
  • Video switching functionality available with VSU300 and one run of RG6 co-axial cable per zone.
  • 6 audio source inputs
  • 6 composite video inputs (with VSU300)
  • Choice of single source (listen to the same source in all rooms at the same time) or multi-source (listen to different sources in different rooms at the same time) master control units
  • Distribution to 4 main zones
  • Additional facility of 4 sub-zones (with MCU300)
  • Stylish and intuitive wall-mounted control panels (WCU310)
  • Remote operation possible with system remote control (SRC300)
  • Loop outputs for all 6 audio sources and 6 video sources
  • External input for CCTV or alternate source
  • Routed Emitter outputs for dedicated infra-red control of source equipment
  • An "All Commands" emitter output for dedicated control of CCTV system etc.
  • Hub-link facility for "chaining" up to 4 MCU's together (possible 16 main zones + 16 sub-zones)
  • Integrates with an Octopus Home Cabling system (if required)
